Discover the exciting world of good homemade kefir

Ingredients

  • 800 ml refrigerated milk
  • 2 tablespoons of granules or 80 g of culture (powdered or prepared kefir)

Method

  1. Pour 800 ml of refrigerated milk into the translucent container.
  2. Heat the milk in the microwave at 800 W for 1 minute (25 ºC).
  3. Place the filter and grinder in the container.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of kefir granules.
  5. Place the container with the lid in the heat insulator.
  6. Ferment for approximately 20 hours.
  7. Remove from the heat insulator, take the lid off and turn the strainer 90º.
  8. Stir with the grinder and filter the kefir, leaving only the granules in the strainer.
  9. Enjoy your homemade kefir!
