Coffee doughnuts with almonds

Prepare these delicious homemade doughnuts and surprise your guests!
Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 1⁄2 tsp powdered cinnamon
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A handful of raw or toasted almonds
- 100 g icing sugar (coffee cream)
- 1⁄2 egg white (coffee cream)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (coffee cream)
- 1 tsp instant coffee (coffee cream)
Method
- Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and instant coffee, and stir with a whisk until it begins to thicken. Add the flour mixed with the baking powder and cinnamon and stir again. Finally, stir in the melted butter and mix until incorporated.
- Spread the mixture into the cups and bake in the oven, preheated to 200 ºC, for 15 minutes.
- For the coffee cream, beat the 4 ingredients until smooth and uniform.
- Remove the doughnuts from the oven, let cool completely and decorate to taste with the coffee cream and chopped almonds. *For best results, grease or flour the pan at the beginning of the preparation.
