Prepare a large variety of healthy and homemade pickled vegetables!

Ingredients

  • 150 g /5,3 oz of green cabbage
  • 75 g /2,6 oz of Golden Delicious apple
  • 75 g /2,6 oz of red apple
  • 100 g /3,5 oz of bottled water
  • 15 g /0,5 oz of non-iodised salt

Method

  1. Wash the vegetables well.
  2. Mix the water with the salt and set aside.
  3. Cut the apple and cabbage into julienne strips, mix, and set aside.
  4. Place the ingredients in the jar, press well, add the liquid, and make sure the ingredients are submerged.
  5. Let it ferment for 4 days at room temperature in a dark place and then store in the refrigerator.
  6. After these 4 days, place the jar in the refrigerator and let it ferment for 2 more weeks for a "light" intensity result.
  7. If you want a stronger result, let it ferment for 2 more weeks in the refrigerator.
