Salmon, prawns and clams

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, 150 g each
  • 100 g clams
  • 8 frozen prawns
  • 12 green asparagus
  • 1 red onion
  • 50 ml cava, champagne or white wine
  • sea salt
  • 1 tbsp pink peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Cut the tips off the asparagus and then using a vegetable peeler slice the stems lengthwise into very thin strips.
  2. Peel and finely chop the onion. Add the onion, asparagus, olive oil, cava and pepper to the steam case over the rack. Cook at 800 W for 2 minutes. Remove the steam case and set the vegetables aside, leaving the drippings inside the case.
  3. Place the salmon in the same case and cook it in the microwave at 800 W for approximately 4 minutes, pausing halfway through to add the clams and prawns. Let the ingredients sit in the case with the cover on for 1.5 minutes.
  4. Serve the vegetables, salmon, clams and prawns all together. Salt the dish and drizzle the drippings from the case over the food.
  5. Cut the asparagus tips and slice the remaining stems with a peeler. Slice the onion into thin strips and place it with the asparagus, oil, cava, and pepper on the rack of the 3-4p Steamer Case, then microwave for 2 minutes at full power (800 W). Remove the ingredients, but leave the cooking juices in the Steamer Case. Place the salmon in the Steamer Case and microwave for 4 minutes at full power (add the clams and shrimp halfway through). When finished, let it rest with the Steamer Case closed for 1.5 minutes. Serve all the ingredients and drizzle with the cooking juices.
