Bake a homemade vegan donut in 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour 450 g
  • Gram flour 100 g
  • Water 160 ml
  • Soy drink 300 ml
  • Beetroots 4
  • Vegetable margarine 140 g
  • Sugar 200 ml
  • Vanilla essence 10 ml
  • Baking powder 2 tbsp
  • For the topping:
  • Vegetable margarine 150 g
  • Icing sugar 200 g
  • Lemon 10 ml
  • Lemon and orange peel To taste
  • Freeze-dried rasperry For garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Place the peeled and sliced beetroot in a bowl with the soy drink and mix until you get an even mixture. Press (strain) and get as much juice as possible. Set aside.
  3. Mix the gram flour with the water in a bowl and beat until you get a foamy and airy mixture.
  4. Add the soy drink, butter, vanilla essence, and beetroot mix into the previous mixture.
  5. Place the mixture in each chamber of the Mold for donuts using a spoon or a piping bag.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 180ºC. Leave to cool and remove.
  7. For the topping , in a bowl, mix all the ingredients to form an even mixture.
  8. Dip one side of the donut and leave to rest until the topping hardens. Ready to eat!
