Red onion with orange and soy sauce

Prepare a large variety of healthy and homemade pickled vegetables!

Ingredients

  • 400 g / 14 oz of red onion
  • 150 g / 5,3 oz of orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 50 g / 1,8 oz of soy sauce

Method

  1. Shred the onion into julienne strips and set aside.
  2. Mix the soy sauce with the orange juice and sugar and set aside.
  3. Place the onion in the jar.
  4. Add the liquid, place the disc and check that all the vegetables are completely submerged.
  5. Leave to ferment 4 days at room temperature and in a dark place.
  6. Store in the fridge.
