Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup (200 g) whole wheat flour
- ½ cup (50 g) wheat flour
- 50 fl oz (165 ml) water
- 1 tsp (5 g) salt
- 0,18 oz (5 g) fresh yeast or 1 tsp(3 g) baking powder for bread
Method
- Place all the ingredients in the bread bin and knead until you have a firm, elastic dough.
- Let the dough rest in the bread bin for 1.5 hours at room temperature, covered with a cloth to prevent it from drying out.
- Once it's rested, shape it into a baguette or roll and let it rest for another 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C, place the bread bin inside, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the whole-wheat bread cool on a wire rack and... that's it!
