Enjoy nuts in a different way!

Ingredients

  • Pre-heat oven 30 minutes in advance Cake
  • 125 g. creamed butter
  • 90 g. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 180 g. flour
  • 5 g. baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g. chopped walnuts
  • Chocolate sauce:
  • 200 g. chocolate
  • 70 g. cream

Method

  1. Beat the butter and sugar together using a whisk.
  2. Add the eggs one by one and finally the flour, previously mixed with the baking powder, salt and walnuts.
  3. Pour into a cake mould and bake at 160º C for 40 to 50 minutes. Leave to cool and turn out.
  4. Melt the chocolate and cream in the microwave at a low setting or in a bain-marie. Serve the cake with the chocolate sauce.
  5. You can replace the walnuts with other nuts or chopped crystallised fruit.
