Walnut Cake

Enjoy nuts in a different way!
Ingredients
- Pre-heat oven 30 minutes in advance Cake
- 125 g. creamed butter
- 90 g. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 180 g. flour
- 5 g. baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200 g. chopped walnuts
- Chocolate sauce:
- 200 g. chocolate
- 70 g. cream
Method
- Beat the butter and sugar together using a whisk.
- Add the eggs one by one and finally the flour, previously mixed with the baking powder, salt and walnuts.
- Pour into a cake mould and bake at 160º C for 40 to 50 minutes. Leave to cool and turn out.
- Melt the chocolate and cream in the microwave at a low setting or in a bain-marie. Serve the cake with the chocolate sauce.
- You can replace the walnuts with other nuts or chopped crystallised fruit.
