Chicken breast with bacon and dates

Ingredients

  • 250 gr. chicken breast
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 6 dates
  • 2 teaspoons of a blend of five spices
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • String to tie the chicken
  • Balsamic vinegar reduction

Method

  1. Boil water in a saucepan. Add the teaspoon of spices and cover.
  2. Clean the chicken breast and remove fat.
  3. Open it, without cutting in two.
  4. Place the bacon and the dates inside (the dates should be open de-seeded).
  5. Tie with the string and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. When the water is boiling, place the chicken in the steamer and cover.
  7. Cook for approx. 14 minutes.
  8. Let cool and untie. Cut in 1 cm slices.
  9. Serve with the balsamic reduction.
