Creamy matcha tea ice cream

Prepare a delicious creamy matcha tea ice cream at home

Ingredients
- Milk 150g (5,2 oz)
- Cream 75g (2,6 oz)
- Sugar 60g (2 oz)
- Yolks 3
- Matcha tea 7g (0,2 oz)
- White chocolate 150g (5,2 oz)
- Coconut oil 10g (0,3 oz)
- Spirulina powder 1 tbsp.
Method
- Heat the milk and matcha tea in a small saucepan, do not let it boil.
- Place the yolks in another bowl with the sugar and mix. Cool the yolks with a splash of the previous mix and blend.
- Add the cooled egg yolks to the pot with the rest of the milk and mix until it thickens at a low temperature. Let cool in a bowl with ice.
- Semi-whip the cream and add to the mix.
- Fill the Classic Creamy ice cream molds and freeze for 4-5 hours.
- Melt the white chocolate in the silicone container for 10-20 second intervals at full power in the microwave. Repeat until the chocolate has melted.
- Add coconut oil to the chocolate and mix until it is even.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1/3 of the mixture with spirulina for decoration.
- Remove the ice cream from the mold and dip it in the white chocolate. Leave to rest until the chocolate hardens, ideally on a silicone mat.
- With the spirulina chocolate and a spoon, add some diagonal lines for decoration.
