Amaranth balls

Ingredients

  • 120g of amaranth
  • 100g of potato
  • 100g of onion
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 50g of Italian pepper
  • 20g of cornstarch
  • 50g of fried tomato
  • 50g of carrot
  • 240g of water
  • 1 clove garlic

Method

  1. Cook the amaranth in the Quick Quinoa & Rice Cooker for 12 minutes in the microwave and let it sit (follow the cooking table of the product).
  2. Cook the potato with the Steam Case in the microwave for 5 minutes at maximum power.
  3. Chop the onion, pepper and garlic finely. Grate the carrot and reserve.
  4. Once the potato is ready, peel it, chop it and mix it with 50 g of onion, cumin and pepper.
  5. Add to the mix the amaranth already cooked. Make some meatballs and cover them with cornstarch.
  6. In a pan gently brown the remaining 50g of onions together with the carrot.
  7. Add the balls to the cooking, mark them and add the fried tomato.
  8. Allow to reduce the sauce for a few minutes and serve.
